Located in the North of the French administrative department of Seine-et-Marne and 30km East of Paris, Val d’Europe is the fourth sector of the new town of Marne-la-Vallée, an initiative developed based on the State’s intention to balance and boost the activities in the suburbs East of Paris.

In 2004, Val d’Europe includes 3,233 hectares, 16,000 inhabitants, 1 SAN and 5 municipalities.

By 2015, the aim is to construct a town comprising approximately 35,000 inhabitants and 40,000 jobs.
