High-tech infrastructures
Val d'Europe is well-equipped in terms of its telecoms, IT and audiovisual infrastructure. Dependent on the rail and road networks, these offer full coverage for the sector comparable with that of La Défense. No less than 3 operators have already developed fibre optics networks in the area. To date, France Télécom has the most intricate network (www.francetelecom.com), followed by Telcité (www.telcite.com) -a subsidiary of the RATP - along line A of the RER, and SANEF (www.sanef.com) along the A4 motorway. Along with the service offered by the Sat-if-Marne communications centre which houses the Paris Ile-de-France Teleport (www.teleport-paris.com), cable networks (cable, ADSL, fibre optics) provide for a wide choice of service access: - Telephone systems: international communications for land lines and mobile phones, video conferences, ISDN, call centres and marketing subcontractors. - Internet: Internet, extranet and intranet access, Internet telephone. - Audiovisual: local, national and international TV programmes. - IT: interconnection between market rooms and exchange platforms, IT back-up centres for the regular saving of company data.
